Painted Sky

 

I smile upon you from heaven

Every night when you sleep

I kiss your dreams with my memory

So there you will always remember

The moments we had together

Though I am dead and gone

Know I am your head forever long

Never will I let you forget

Every time you see a sunset

Know I am the one painting the sky

And whenever there are any tears

Know I am there to rub your eye

With hope and warm smiles

Soon again we will be together

Until then

Know this sadness will soon find an end
